This 7"x10" ink drawing on archival paper features a densely layered, irregularly shaped mass of black ink lines concentrated in the lower portion of the paper. The lines are tightly wound, creating a compact and almost impenetrable form. The edges of the mass are softer, with some strands curling away from the main body, giving a sense of slight motion or unraveling. The rest of the page is left bare, allowing the heavy black ink to stand out starkly against the negative space. This composition feels contained, yet there is a subtle sense of expansion or energy, as if the form could continue to grow or shift.
